Lonnie L. Esquibel, 63, passed away November 2, 2025. A lifetime Puebloan, he was born June 8, 1962 to parents, Alfonso and Helen (Garcia) Esquibel. Both precede him in death along with his daughter, Jessica Montez; in-laws, Jim and Donna Salazar.
Lonnie worked most of his life as a roofer. Most of all he loved spending quality time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Lonnie is survived by his devoted wife of 15 years, Rita (Lucero) Esquibel; children, Angela (Ryan) Griego, Amanda Montez, Desirae Montez, John Montez, Mercedes Montez (James Sierra) and Victoria (Shayla) Montez; 17 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.
At his request cremation, no formal services.
