Loretta J. Vigil

Loretta J. Vigil, 79, of Pueblo passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on January 21, 2020. 

Loretta was in born in La Junta, Colorado on April 26, 1940 to parents, Samuel Gallegos,  Francis Vigil and Thomas Vigil, who precede her in death along with brothers Ron Gallegos and Don Vigil. 

She lived and raised her family in Pueblo. She was a parishioner of Saint Francis Xavier Parish where she was a member of the Altar Society. She was a woman of great of faith, love, and devotion to her family and friends.

Loretta is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Philip J. Vigil.  

She is also survived by her children, Philip J. Vigil II, Christopher (JoAnna) Vigil, Ray (Patie) Vigil, Claudine “Dina” (Robert) Gonzales, Michelle (Gary) Blohm, and Steven Vigil, Jennifer (Steve) Henson Jr.; siblings, Bella Padilla, Tom Vigil, Leonard Vigil, John Vigil; sister-in-law, Emma (Wally) Hankiewiez; as well as her numerous grandchildren, and great grand-children.

The rosary will be held at Saint Francis Xavier Parish at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 29 with Mass to follow at 10:00 a.m. Internment immediately following at Roselawn Cemetery.
