Louise Rita Mendoza

Louise Rita Mendoza, 89, passed away October 27, 2025. She was born April 28, 1936, in Trinidad, Colorado to parents, Pete and Maria (Amador) Mendoza. Both precede her in death along with brother, Mike Mendoza; sisters, Clara Denal, Lorriane Matamores, Virginia Hamilton, Anita Bookout, and Grace Thompson.

Louise was an excellent drawer; she liked to color and play Bingo. Her favorite pastime was to go shopping and go out to eat with her daughter Missy, they were two peas in a pod. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and attending gatherings.

Louise is survived by her daughter, Melissa “Missy” Mendoza; sister, Arlene Boday; several nieces, Bernadette (Robert) Gutierrez, Janet (Tomas) Vasquez, Jennie Thompson, Natalie Thompson and Loretta Montoya; several great nieces and nephews.

Graveside Service, 2:30 pm, Wed., Nov. 19, 2025 at Roselawn Cemetery.
