Lucinda Maria Reyez

Lucinda Maria Reyez, 72, passed away March 27, 2024. A lifetime Puebloan, she was born November 25, 1951 to parents Joe C. and Mary D. (Valles) Baca. Both precede her in death along with her sons, Jacob Reyez and Jose Baca; brothers, Johnny Baca and Henry Baca; and sister, Angie Rodriguez.

Lucinda enjoyed playing Bingo, dancing, cooking, fishing and camping. She was very strong willed. Lucinda especially enjoyed having a cold one and a smoke every now and then. Most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren and family, sharing stories, her love and laughter with each of them. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Lucinda is survived by daughters, Isabell Baca and Michelle Mejia; former husband, Jose Baca Sr., siblings, Dorothy Baca, Nancy Cruz, Virginia (George) Lopez, Mike Baca and Jessie Baca; grandchildren, Christopher, Jasmine, Acaci, Jose Jr., Jacob, Charlie, Jamie, Dakota, Justin, Jordan, and Kiana; numerous great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service is still continuing today at 2 pm, Wed., April 3, 2024 at Angelus Chapel.
