Maria "Delma" G. Delma Cordova

Maria G. Delma Cordova, 74 , affectionately known as “Delma” passed away June 23, 2021. She was born Oct. 23, 1946 in New Mexico. She is preceded in death by parents Amado Sanchez and Berlinda (Henry) Trujillo; siblings, Gasper Sanchez, Louise Gutierrez, and Pat Sanchez; favorite uncle Ted (Lydia) Trujillo. Delma was a retired educator, and strong community advocate. She was someone who was always willing to help others. Delma was a devout Catholic. She was involved in the Legion of Mary and St. Mary’s Church. In her spare time, she enjoyed to play Bingo. Most of all Delma cherished her time spent with her family. She leaves to cherish her memory; children, Annette (Lawrence) Hernandez and Joseph Cordova; grandchildren, Amanda (Michael) Fuentes, Roman Aragon, Lauren (Joel Checo) Hernandez, Nina Hernandez, Arianna Cordova, Alhya Cordova, Amaya Cordova; great-grandson, Elias Fuentes; siblings, Lisa Elizabeth (Martin) Adakai, Terry (Cecil) Hersey, Elaine (Dino) Valdez; brother in law Ernest Gutierrez; sister-in-laws, Elva Sanchez and Lorraine (Fred) Vigil; God- children, Robert Ramirez, Maylynn Mondragon, Ernest Cordova, Anthony Sanchez; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends that will miss her dearly.
