Marilyn Kay Baillargeon, 72, passed away on October 10, 2023, in Pueblo, CO. She was born May, 18, 1951, in Pueblo, CO, to Pasquale (“Pat”) Caporicci and Ann (Borich) Caporicci, who both precede her in death along with: her loving husband, Joseph Baillargeon; brother, Dennis Caporicci; mother-in-law Sukcha (Kim) Baillargeon, and brother-in-law, Peter Baillargeon. She enrolled in classes at the University of Southern Colorado (now Colorado State University – Pueblo), focusing on business administration. Her love of books and reading eventually led her to the Pueblo City-County Library District, where she discovered her passion and from which she eventually retired in 2017. She was a devout member of St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, and a long-time supporter of the Friends of the Library. She enjoyed reading, especially works by her favorite author, John Grisham; cooking traditional family recipes for her family and friends; and giving selflessly of her time and support to family and friends in need. Most of all she loved her time spent with her husband and two children. Marilyn leaves to cherish her memory: her two sons, Jay and Chris Baillargeon, and numerous other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests sending memorial contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association (www.alz.org), from whom the family received a wealth of support.
Mass of Christian Burial, 2 pm, Thurs, Oct. 19, 2023 at St. Mary Help of Christians Church.
