Marina Amaro

Marina Amaro, 57, gained her angel wings on April 1, 2022. She was born on June 19, 1964 to Adelmo and Helen Vigil. She is preceded in death by her father Adelmo Vigil grandparents Malaquias and Mary Vigil and Flora Duran; Her sister Corrina Lopez and Father-in-law John S. Amaro. 

She is survived by her husband of 44 years Phil Amaro, Son Phillip-PJ Amaro(Lori Chavez), Granddaughters Alexia and Leila Amaro. Mother Helen Vigil, sisters Florie (Ray) DeTello, Maria (Johnny) Mondragon. Numerous nieces and nephews. 

She was proud of the 37 years she served as a Pueblo District 60 employee.  She enjoyed traveling with her family and life-long friends, which became family. She was always ready to take a trip up the hill to Cripple Creek and looked forward to the yearly bike trips to Red River and Sturgis. But most of all, she loved spending time with her husband, "Kids", and granddaughters. From family dinners, to supporting them at dance competitions and sporting events. Marina adored her family and bragged about them to everyone she knew.
