Mario A. Arellano, 31, passed away Feb. 1, 2025. He was born to Ernest Duane "Mosco" Arellano and Celina Locke. He is preceded in death by his father, Ernest Duane “Mosco” Arellano; son, Mariano Arellano; grandfather, David Martinez Sr.; uncle, David Martinez Jr.; grandparents, Ernest and Clorinda Arellano; great-grandparents, Mary Gallegos, Louis Gallegos, Dora Candelaria; aunts, Arlene Arellano, Jennie Arellano, Monique Gallegos; Nina, Erica Arellano; special friend/brother, Fabian Quintana.
Mario was a great painter and loved working with his family. He was the proud owner of Mosco and Son’s painting. Mario received his license as an ordained minister. He loved the Lord and attending church. Mario was adventurous; he enjoyed skydiving, ziplining, and riding his bike. He loved to stir the pot with everyone. He was a great cook and hard worker. He enjoyed writing poems and passages. He was interested in native medicine and sharing his roots. He was infatuated with getting tattoos, the more he had the better. He did everything on his time, and always made his family proud. Mario loved his family and friends; he cherished his time spent with each of them.
Mario is survived by his mother, Celina and Steve Locke; grandmother, Virginia Martinez; brother, Dominick Arellano; girlfriend, Ashley Hall; siblings, Duane (Crystal) Nunez; Donisia (Mark) Gutierrez, Rochelle Arellano; Michelle Trujillo, Andy Arellano-Trujillo, Joe “Michael” Arellano-Trujillo ; grandparents Carmel and Jean Hall; special aunt, Renae Sandoval; sister-in-law, Samantha Hall; aunts, Margie (Dave) Pierce, Pat (Mark) Padilla, Josie (Robert) Alire, Virginia (Dan) Medina; Nino, Pete Montoya; numerous family and friends who will miss him dearly.
