Marla Ann Mann (Bangerter), born on July 30, 1940, in Salt Lake City, Utah, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2026, in Pueblo West, Colorado. She was 85 years old.
Marla was the beloved wife of Mike Mann for 62 years and a cherished mother to her three children: Kelly (Rondi) Mann, Steve Mann, and Michelle (Mike) Mann Madril. Her family brought her immense joy and pride throughout her life. She was also a devoted grandmother to Parker (Laura) Mann, Marshall (Erin) Mann, Rhiannon (Brad) Mann, Lydia (Chris) Parker, Grant (Serenna) Baggett, and Trent (Mackinley) Baggett, as well as a loving great-grandmother to Carter Mann, Isla Mann, Winter Anderson, Artemis Parker, and Maverick Mann.
Marla grew up in Salt Lake City as the daughter of Arnold and Dorothy (Husband) Bangerter. She was preceded in death by her parents and her grandparents: Russell and Geneva (Hedilus) Husband and Arnold and Hazel (Meads) Bangerter. Marla shared a warm connection with her siblings—Roger Bangerter (Barbara), Joan Ritchins, and Russell Bangerter (Patti)—who survive her.
Throughout her life, Marla’s warmth and kindness left an indelible mark on those who knew her. Her legacy lives on through the love she shared with her family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marla’s memory to St. Jude's Children’s Research Hospital.
