Martha "Daisy" Solis

Martha Daisy Solis, 81, passed away on June 14, 2022. She was born Feb. 14, 1941 in San Luis, CO to Max and Clara (Vigil) Espinoza who preceded her in death along with loving husband, Joe F. Solis and children, William Solis and Catrina Archuleta; siblings, Manuel, Dave, Gene, Sam, Levi Espinoza, Annie Aguero, Mary Duran, Lela Espinoza.

Daisey as she was known to family and friends enjoyed taking care of kids whether it was family or neighborhood children. She was an excellent cook you never left her home hungry. She and her husband Joe loved to travel to the Casinos and Cripple Creek; and entertaining family and friends.

Daisy is survived by her children Mark Solis and Joe Solis; 6 grandchildren, Dominic (Katlyn), Derek (Jackie), Fabian and Martin Solis, Donovan and Evan Archuleta; 8 great-grandchildren; in-laws, Margaret Demming, Lupita Blake, and Robert Solis; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends who loved and with Miss Daisy. Funeral Mass 9:30a.m. Thurs. June 23, 2022. Mt. Carmel Catholic Church. Internment Roselawn Cemetery.
