Marvin Burl Willis II, affectionately known as “Bubba”, was born June 16, 1964 to the late Marvin and Curlie Willis I.
He accepted Christ at an early age and joined Union Missionary Baptist Church, West Blocton, Alabama.
He received his education in the Bibb County School System and joined the United States Army upon graduation.
He was united in Holy Matrimony to Diane Keifer on November 19, 1986. From this union two children were born; Crystal Mae Willis and Marvin Burl Willis III.
Marvin departed this life on Friday March 29, 2024 in Pueblo, Colorado.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Oscar & Alma Willis, and Archie & Carrie Black Jr. His parents Marvin & Curlie Willis I, brother Valen Willis, mother-in-law Guadalupe Vigil. Aunts; Willie Jo Parker, Eloise Calliens, & Bernice Walker. Uncles; Felix Parker, Joseph Calliens, and Samuel Walker Sr. Cousins; Regina Parker Brand and Oscar Parker Sr.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, a loving wife, Diane Willis. Daughter, Crystal (Marcus Taylor) Willis. Son, Marvin (Kelly) Willis III. Stepdaughter, Jessica (Elefar Garcia) Martinez. Aunt, Earline B. Poole. Sisters; Marva (Kenneth) Gilbert Sr. & Vanessa Willis Nunn. Brothers; Carlos Willis & Johnathan (Erica) Willis. Grandchildren; Dallas Willis, Juriah Willis, Alianah Willis, Marvin Burl Willis IV, Amaya Willis, Zara Willis-Taylor, Alyssa Garcia, Shania Garcia, Mariah Garcia, Isaiah Garcia, and Marisa Garcia. Great-grandchildren; Ella Garcia-Eder & Aria Franklin. Nephews; Kenneth Gilbert Jr. Mark Gilbert, Pierre Nunn Jr. and Marcus Nunn. Nieces; Latrece (KyAndre) Madison-Paige, Jameria Gilbert and Kierra (Pernell) James. As well as a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
