Mary Elizabeth Almaraz

Mary Elizabeth Almaraz, 73, passed away Dec. 30, 2024. She was born Dec. 17, 1951 in Colorado to parents, Jesus and Elisama (Gonzales) Martinez. Both precede her in death along with her son, Baby Fuentes.

Mary retired from C & W Railroad as a clerk. She enjoyed reading, attending holistic fairs and astrology. Mary loved traveling, especially going to Cripple Creek and being with her friends, especially Sherri and Janelle.

Mary is survived by her loving husband, Art Almaraz; her step children, Jason (Chandra) Almaraz and Janelle (Martin Ayala) Almaraz; siblings, Virginia (Frank) Sandoval, Joyce (George) Leri, Joe (Carol) Martinez, Bob (Maryann) Martinez, and Shirley (Joe) Nemanic; grandchildren, Areyah, Sky, Penelope, and Rio; mother-in-law, Cacilda Almaraz; her cousin who she considered a sister, Martha Garcia; several nieces, nephews and friends who loved and will miss her.
