Mary K. Berry

Mary K. Berry, 82, passed away March 19, 2024. She was born Oct. 19, 1941 in Peoria, Illinois to parents, John J. Bressner and Mary Pitts, both who precede her in death along with her beloved husband, Charles Berry; son, Richard McAllister; and brother, William Bressner.

Mary was an avid reader. Throughout her life her community involvement was so important to her. She loved her tiny home and the mountain breeze with her fur baby “Tillie” by her side.

Mary leaves to cherish her memory; her children, James (Shelia) McAllister Sr., Bonita (Joe) Gehrig, and John (Sandra) Bressner; sisters, Myrna Bressner, Ruth Hoffman, and Linda (Linda) Bressner; 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss her dearly.

Graveside Service, 11:30 am, Tues., April 2, 2024 in Peoria, IL.  Interment Swan Lake Memorial Gardens, Bartonville, Illinois.
