Mary Consuelo Medina

Mary Consuelo Medina, 86, passed away peacefully Oct. 24, 2024 from a lengthy illness. Predeceased by her parents, Antonio and Lena Gallegos, her husband of 63 years, Jose J. Medina; her daughter, Lisa Medina; siblings, Sadie Pacheco, Avelina Gallegos, Beatrice Espinoza, Albert Gallegos, Gilbert Gallegos, Benny Gonzales, Jose "Benji" Gonzales and Frankie Gallegos.

Mary loved all the Colorado sports teams, but her favorite was the Denver Broncos. She loved gardening, cooking, baking, crocheting, sewing and scrapbooking. She also loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her 4 children, Becki Vigil, Jose (Donna) Medina, Kathy Medina and Bobby (Michelle) Medina; her brother, Louie (Doma) Gallegos; several nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law, Helen (Tino) Herrera, Virginia Bobian, Martha Gonzales; 10 grandchildren, Jessica (Aaron), Jaclyn, Crystal, Kyle (Amanda), Sarah, Adrian, Aundrea (Jonathon), Kaylene, Kendra, and Alex;  and 10 great grandchildren.

Rosary, 9:30 am, Thurs., Oct. 31, 2024 with Funeral Mass to follow at 10 am, both services at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.
