Mary Sierra Padilla

Mary Sierra Padilla, 96 , passed away June 14, 2024. She is preceded in death by her parents, Francisco and Placida Sierra; husband, Jose Padilla; daughter, Dolores Gomez; sons, Francis, Steven, Melvin; granddaughter; grandson; brother, Albert Sierra; nieces, Ida Sierra, Viola Jennings, and, nephew, Ray Sierra.

Mary enjoyed bingo, cards, and gambling. She also enjoyed listening to music and dancing. Mary was a member of the CF & I Steelworker Women Auxiliary. She was a fashionista always looking good from head to toe. Mary was a social butterfly. She could strike up a conversation with anyone. She was the matriarch of 5 Generations. She shared her stories, life lessons, words of wisdom, and love with everyone of her family members.

Survived by daughters, Lorraine (Jack), Ida, Susan, Placida, Katrina (Michael) Barbara, and sons, Arthur (Jackie), Gerald (Jennie), Frank (Virginia) and Mario (Linda); niece, Stella Talmadge; nephew, Frank  Duran; 25 grandchildren; numerous great- grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial 10a.m. Thursday June 27, 2024 at St. Francis Xavier Church.
