Mary Romero

Mary Romero, 85, passed away June 5, 2019 a lifetime Puebloan, she was born Nov. 16, 1933 to proud parents Manuel and Luz (Perez) Soto both preceded her in death, along with husband, Ernie Romero; siblings, Joe, Vincent, Pete, Ruth and Mickey; her dog Chacha. Mary retired from the Dietary Dept of the State Hospital with 30 years of service. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier, Ideal Sewing Club and the Eagles. She enjoyed dancing, crocheting, embroidering and cooking, you never left her home hungry. She is survived by her children, Anita Romero, and Jeanette (Rodney) Romero; grandchildren, Ryan (Brenna) Romero, Natalie and Erik; great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Kayden, Bella, Donovan and Silas; siblings, Nellie Herrera, Paz (Rudy) Sanchez, Jess Soto, Cresencia Garcia and Rosemary (Danny) Chavez; godchildren, Ricky Mora, David Cordova, Elona Medina and Pauline Bernal; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends who loved her dearly. Rosary 6 p.m Wednesday, Funeral Mass 11 a.m Thursday both at Holy Family Church. Interment Roselawn Cemetery.
