Mateo is survived by his parents, Brinda and Manuel; grandparents, Lorena Gatlin, Jerry Dixon and Tina Burns; great-grandmother, Raynetta Burns; uncle, Anthony (Celeste) Burns Jr.; cousin, Arthenia F.L Burns; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
