Obituary
Maximo S. Gurule, 62, passed away Jan 3, 2022. He was born June 4th to his mother, Margie Montoya in Visalia, CA. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Belinda Cordova; brother, Ricky Gurule; father, Sam Gurule and stepfather, Tommy Montoya. Maximo served in the US Army attaining the rank of Private First Class.
Maximo was a father, brother, and grandpa. He could be your best friend or not. If you were his friend, you were a special friend. Max was a prankster. He got every nephew he had with the “hose don’t work” joke. He also collected knives and had quite the collection.
Maximo is survived by his daughter, Nicole Gurule; son, Joseph (Natasha) Gurule; mother, Margie Montoya; siblings Rose (Bill) Patterson, Margaret, and Adam (Anna); grandchildren, Abram, Jeromey, Aaron, Angelo, Aaliyah, and Alyssa; numerous nieces and nephews to include Angelo Gurule, who lovingly referred to his uncle as, “Uncle Wacko”, and other relatives and friends who loved and will miss Maximo dearly.
