Maxine was the Silver Queen 2022 here in Pueblo, she was very proud of it. She loved cards, dominos, and was an excellent bowler. Maxine was very giving, not a selfish bone in her body. She was an advocate for the underserved. She loved sharing her life lessons, stories, words of wisdom and love for her family, neighbors, and friends. Maxine was the Santa to all, Christmas Eve was her favorite. She was also referred to as the Patron Saint for the Mexican weddings, they always looked to her to celebrate their special day. Maxine sang in the Mariachi of La Junta. Norteno music was some of her favorite music. Maxine was the most supportive and caring mom anyone could have. She always found a way no matter the situation. Maxine was a loving mother, sister, and aunt. She cherished her children and loved them unconditionally.
