Maxine Nava Chicas

Maxine Nava Chicas, 83, passed away June 3, 2021 in New Orleans. Maxine was born Jan 22, 1938 to the union of Pedro and Maria (Gonzalez) Nava. They both precede her in death along with her loving husband Leonel Chicas; siblings, Eluterio, Refugio, Elanore (Steve), Charlotte (Fabian), Talo (Flora), Dolores “Lola”, Pete, Margarito (Tiny), and Manuel. Maxine lived in New Orleans for years. She always came home almost every year to Pueblo. She loved spending quality time with each of her siblings. Maxine had a strong faith, and worked for her church. She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Rolando (Annie) Chicas, and Leonel Chicas Jr.; her grandchildren, Aidia and Xiola; siblings, Rachel Martinez, Ruth (Zeke), Mary Lena, Juan, Zeke (Marci), and sister-in-law Betty; several nieces and nephews cousins other relatives and friends.
