Melissa Nelly Bravo, departed this world to be with the Lord and her son Elijah on July 7, 2024. A lifetime Puebloan, she was born on July 20, 1975 to parents, Ciriaco James and Kathy (Negretti) Bravo. Preceded in death by grandma, CeceliaBlea; grandparents, Dulcinea and Sabino Bravo; brother, Jimbo Bravo; son, Elijah Aguila; and niece, Dakota Rose Garcia.
Although Melissa did not become the Solid Gold Dancer she thought she would someday be, she loved to dance and was always ready to put a smile on our face with her accurate dance impressions of her family members. The family finds peace in knowing that she is now in the
presence of our Lord with her arms wrapped around her son, Elijah and her “ride or die” fur babies, Gary and Diamond forever by her side. Melissa will forever be loved and missed by all who knew her.
She leaves to cherish her memory, parents, Ciriaco (Jimmy) and Kathy Bravo; son, Isiah Aguila; her forever love, Luis Aguila; granddaughter, Zayhlee Aguila; brothers, Louis (Melissa) Perez and Angelo Garcia; sister, Nancy (Simon) Jones; special nephew, Jayven Garcia; godson, Jalen Velarde; nino, William Bravo; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and an abundance of friends.
Scripture Service, 10 am, Wed., July 17, 2024 at Angelus Chapel.
