Melissa E Carbajal

Melissa E. Carbajal,53, passed on November 23, 2022. She was born August 24, 1969 in La Junta, CO. to Virginia Ramon. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Herman and Mildred Medina; aunts, Elizabeth Trujillo and Helen Mondragon; uncles, Bill and Dido Medina, Jerry Thomas; cousins, Janet Burkenpile and Michael Mondragon. Melissa loved being around family and friends, her pride and joy were her nieces and nephews. She could spend hours talking on the phone to loved ones. She was notorious for giving nicknames to the family and always asking for someone to braid her hair. There was never a day you didn’t see her dressed up, her hair slicked back and ready for the day. Melissa enjoyed kicking back listening to oldies and watching her Broncos.  Melissa leaves to cherish her memory, precious daughter, Amelia Carbajal; mother, Virginia Ramon; stepson, David Gonzalez; stepdaughter, Natasha Rivera; her sisters, Tina, Tammy, Alicia and Millie; brothers, Robert and Greg Carbajal; sister-in-law Juanita Likes; godsons, TJ and Anicio Madrid; numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends who will miss her.  Funeral Service 11 am Tues.
