Michael Anthony Rodriguez, 67, passed away December 6, 2025. He was born February 25, 1958 in Pueblo, Colorado to parents, Sam Sr. and Flora (Chavez) Rodriguez. Preceded in death by his mother, Flora Rodriguez; brothers, Rodney and Eric; grandson, Baby Jared; and great granddaughter, Miyah.
Michael was a proud Central High School graduate. He was a hard worker and great provider. Michael enjoyed playing pool, fishing, riding his bike, and going to Cripple Creek. He was an avid Broncos fan, win or lose, he was cheering them on. Mike was a great chef; he cooked the best dishes throughout Pueblo. He was very friendly and could strike up a conversation with anyone. He also enjoyed working in the yard. His biggest joy was being with his grandchildren, sharing his life stories, lessons, and unconditional love with each of them.
Michael is survived by his parents, Sam and Anita Rodriguez; fiancé, Donna Quintana; children, Michael Candelaria, Jason Rodriguez, Chanda Rodriguez, Dreena (Roger) Gonzales, Jared (Pam) Rodriguez, and Preslee M. Flora Rodriguez; 15 grandchildren, Andrew, Shayla, Orlando, Jason Jr., Shaiyanne, Jaylena, Ricardo, Patrick, Trinity, Jeñaya, Meriah, Alicia, Emma, and Zacari; 11 great grandchildren; siblings, Sam Rodriguez Jr., Rick Rodriguez, Don Rodriguez, Samantha (Brian) Rodriguez, Roberta (Eric) Pacheco, Phillip (Rachel) Gonzales, Sharon (Billy) Keister, and Lavinia; 2 four legged companions, Rasco & Dutches; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends to include special friends, Chris & Sharon Villanueva and David & Jennifer Sanchez.
Funeral Service, 1 pm, Fri., Dec. 19, 2025 at Praise Assembly.
