Monica Jay Bobian, 59, passed away on April 7, 2024. Born in Anchorage, Alaska on December 26, 1964 to Richard and Joanne “Pam” Sena. Monica is preceded in death by her daughters, Chanae Bobian, Juli Cordova, RaeJean Lucero and Shawna Gurule; her father-in-law, Andy Bobian and her loving grandparents.
Monica enjoyed shopping and watching her grandchildren, nieces and nephews play all types of sports in her free time. She loved helping everyone she could, and others often looked at her as a mother to the motherless. Monica referred to her grandchildren, nieces and nephews as her “Bebe’s” and she loved them more than anything in the world. She loved spending time with family, especially when all her grandbabies are in the same room. In her nursing career, Monica took care of endless amounts of patients who all became family to her and her family. Monica was a coach for numerous sports for all of her babies. Monica is the matriarch of the family who left an enormous impact on anyone she came in contact with. She has left an enormous space in all of the hearts of those who knew her.
Monica is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Andy Bobian; her sons, Ricardo Bobian, Devon Bobian and Austin (Tee) Bobian; her parents, Richard and Pam Sena; her sister, Shawna (Keith) Williams; son-in-law, Brandon Vigil; mother-in-law, Virginia Bobian; sibling-in-laws, Trina (Mark) Sanchez, Cindy Bobian, and Shirley (Ruben) Martinez; grandchildren, Brandon (Jasmine Mendoza) Vigil, Brandis (Antonio Treadway) Vigil, Andi Vigil, Brayden Vigil, Devyn Bobian, Kymani Bobian, Sariyah Bobian, Kyro Ulloa, Lyrick Bobian, Kashious Bobian and Kane Vigil Bobian; great grandchildren, Brandon Vigil, Dario Vigil, Amelia Vigil, and Alahni Treadway; numerous nephews, nieces, godchildren and friends who loved her and will miss her dearly.
