Chuck was a 25-year retired Federal Civil Service employee having worked at the United States Air Force Academy, Fort Carson, and Pueblo Army Depot. Additionally, he was a 3rd and 4th Degree Knight of Columbus, dedicated member to Christ the King Parrish, member to the Pueblo Athletic Club and avid bicyclist and Denver Bronco fan. His love of music and playing his saxophone, was however, his true passion. He played in many Pueblo bands including---Los Fantasticos, Primavera, Sierra Gold, and Latin Thunder. Additional Chuck played in the St. Anne’s Mariachi Group and various other groups and choirs. Playing his music and sharing his talent with audiences gave him great joy and happiness throughout his lifetime.
Chuck married his high school sweetheart, Amalia, on June 20th, 1970. They were married 50 years. The union gave them two amazing daughters Anissa and Anitta. He loved his girls and his five grandchildren were his pride and joy. He was happiest when he was teasing them and giving them hard time. He loved them with all his heart. He was a friend to all, from his good neighbor, his high school buddy, his church family, to all his musician brothers and sister he was honored to work with. Chuck will be greatly missed.
A very special thank you to the staff of Parkview Medical Center, The US Renal Liberty Dialysis Center, Pam Isley and staff and all the First Responders that dedicated their lives to providing Chuck with quality care and assistance.
