Our dear mother Naomi Garcia sadly passed away peacefully on June 2, 2025, at the age of 82. A lifelong resident of Colorado, Naomi was born October 25, 1942 in Pueblo to Bernardo Garcia and Amelia Garza.
Naomi was known for her quiet strength, warm spirit, and deep devotion to her Christian faith and her family. She was a wonderful mother who was always there when needed, offering support, wisdom, and love in abundance to her 4 children Warren, Elias, Roberta and Robert II.
She dedicated many years of her life to caring for others through her work as a transporter at Rose Medical Center in Denver, CO, where she was respected for her kindness, dependability, and compassion for patients and colleagues alike.
Naomi’s greatest passion was her faith in Christ. She was a devoted student of the Bible and loved sharing scripture and spiritual insight with family, friends, and anyone who crossed her path. Her conversations often reflected the joy and peace she found in her relationship with God. She will be remembered not only for her faith, but also for her gentle nature, her unwavering kindness, and her love for her community. Naomi was a friend to many and a cherished member of her family leaving behind a legacy of kindness and strength.
Naomi is survived by Elias Woolfolk, Roberta Woolfolk-Lamas (James), Robert Woolfolk II (Adeyanju), Ruth Young, Grace Keegan, Damaso Garcia, Elias Garcia, Raul Garcia, Amelia Garcia, Rene Garcia, 17 Grandchildren, 22 Great-Grandchildren and whole host of cousins and friends. Naomi is preceded in death by her parents Bernardo and Amelia, eldest son Warren, Micah Woolfolk, Christina Beltran, Jose Garcia, Elsie Aragon, Bernardo Garcia Jr., Eunice Marshall-Melton, Michael Aragon, Bernardo R. Garcia and Victoria Garcia.
Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Funeral Service, 11 am, Tues., June 17, 2025 at The Angelus Chapel.
