Nick R. Montoya

Nick R. Montoya, 58, peacefully passed away June 25, 2025. Nicks Mother Dorinda and Father Arturo preceded him in death along with his brothers Steven and Arturo Jr.

Survived by his son Joshua and siblings Frances (Daryl), Maryann, Fernando (Susan), Corrine, and Reyes (Andrea). Nick is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Nick was a true-blue Colorado Broncos, Nuggets, Rockies and Avalanche fan, win or lose it didn’t matter. He enjoyed the outdoors and had very fond memories of fishing and hunting with his dad and brothers. He also had great times and memories of growing up on South Road in Pueblo County, especially the mischievous fun they used to have.

Nick loved his entire family and spoke of them constantly until his passing.

There will be a private family internment at San Antonio Cemetery in Los Montoya’s, New Mexico.
