Niko J Romero

Niko J. Romero, 32, passed away Nov. 24, 2022.  A lifetime Puebloan, he was born Feb. 22, 1990 to Ron and Jean (Whitney) Romero.  He is preceded in death by his father; his sister, Reina Romero Montez; his grandparents, Ramon and Elesar Romero, Earl and Amelia Whitney; aunts, Carmela Salas, Marie Lynn, Carol Crespin and JoAnn Pineda.  Niko attended Central High School, he enjoyed life to the fullest, hanging out with his friends, joking around and making people laugh.  But his biggest joy was spending time with his son.  Niko is survived by his mother, Jean Whitney; his wife, Maira Cornejo; his son, Niko Romero Jr.; his brother, Chris Romero; brother-in-law, Brian Montez; nephew, Corran Montez; uncles, Ramon (Justine) Romero, Jerry (Donna) Whitney, Doug Romero, Louis Pineda; aunts, Betty Estrada and Janet Smith, several cousins, other relatives and friends.  Memorial Service, 2 pm, Friday Dec. 2, 2022 ,Angelus Chapel, 1102 E.
