Patti Marie Pugh, age 57, of Pueblo, Colorado, entered eternal rest on May 6, 2026. Born on December 11, 1968, Patti was first and foremost a child of God whose life was marked by resilience, humor, compassion, and a deep love for the Lord. Patti loved worshiping God and found strength, hope, and peace in her faith throughout her life. She was blessed with a God-given gift for music, sharing her beautiful singing voice and talent for playing the piano in ways that brought comfort, joy, and worship to those around her.
Patti’s faith was an important part of her life. She was a devoted member of the Nocturnal Adoration Society and the Council of Catholic Women (CCW), where she found community, prayer, and opportunities to serve alongside others in faith.
Patti dedicated much of her life to serving others through her work in Pueblo. Over the years, she was employed by the Pueblo Hispanic Education Foundation, Pueblo School District 60, DocGo, Davis Wire, and the Boys & Girls Club of Pueblo, where she formed lasting relationships and touched the lives of many. Patti especially cared for young people and believed deeply in helping others find encouragement and opportunity.
Patti is survived by her sons, Joshua Pugh and Jonathan Pugh. She was especially proud of her grandsons, Bryson Aragon-Pugh and Emry Prigmore-Pugh, often speaking of them with hope and excitement for the people they were becoming.
She is survived by her siblings, Herbert (Freda) Pugh III, Theresa Pugh, Kennedy Pugh, and Horace (Karen) Pugh; step-siblings Jeanette (Shawn) Vanduvall, Jeffery (Melba) Potter, and Elaine (Brian) Stuart; nieces and nephews Brian (Elyse) Pugh, Yvette (Andrew) Coffman, Yvonne Pugh, Brianna (Jace) Peterson, Mallory (Dansby) Swanson, and Bobby Crew; and many extended family members, loved ones, and dear friends who became family.
Patti’s family extended far beyond blood relation. Many in the community lovingly called her “Mom,” “Sister,” and “Aunty,” reflecting the deep connections she built throughout her life and the care she showed to others. Though not related by blood, countless people considered Patti family and found comfort, support, and love through her presence in their lives.
She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Ruth Pugh and Herbert Pugh Jr.; her beloved sister, Linda Pugh; and her brother, Alvin Pugh.
Patti’s life, like many, came with challenges and struggles, yet those who knew her best knew the depth of her spirit. She was funny, compassionate, and capable of making a lasting impression on the lives of many. Like all of us, she experienced both joys and hardships, yet her humanity, faith, and presence touched people in meaningful ways.
Though our hearts grieve her passing, we find comfort in knowing Patti is now at peace and embraced in God’s eternal love. Her memory will continue to live on through the lives she touched, the songs she sang, the prayers she whispered, and the moments remembered by those who knew and loved her.
As Patti herself once shared in faith:
“Lord, when I’m tired and my hope feels thin, breathe new life into my spirit. Remind me that You are my strength and that Your promises never fail.”
