Paul Nava Rivera

Paul Nava Rivera, 89, passed away June 1, 2019. He was born Feb. 5, 1930 to parents Tomas and Rita (Nava) Rivera both preceded him in death, along with, granddaughter, Taylor Rivera; siblings, Tomas Rivera Jr., Rachel Villagrana, Magdalena Candelaria and Joe Rivera. Paul served 4 years in the Navy. He worked for CF&I as a Crane Operator with 38 years of service. Paul enjoyed watching the Broncos and Rockies, he was a master leather craftsman. Paul was an excellent handyman, working alongside his son, Willie for over 35 years at Angelus Chapel. He also enjoyed going to Cripple Creek with his wife Gloria and attending many family functions, but most of all he loved sharing stories, wisdom, faith and love with his children and grandchildren. Paul is survived by his wife, Gloria Consuelo Rivera; children, Willie (Debra) Rivera, Elaine (Charles) Jacobs, Pauline Rivera, Loretta Rivera, Lucille (Mike Martinez) Osteen, Sylvia Coghill, and Thomas (Sherry Vigil) Rivera; sister, Sarah Watson; sister in law, Cleotilde Pacheco; 17 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
