Paul Anthony “Tony” Rodriguez, beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, Godfather and friend passed away peacefully on November 23, 2025 at the age of 65. He was surrounded by family and loved ones. Tony is preceded in death by his mother and father, Paul Ramirez and Flora Watta Rodriguez.
Tony was a proud Central Wildcat from the class of 1979 who never missed a Bell Game. An avid sports fan, he loved the Denver Broncos, win or lose, and supported all of Colorado’s professional and college teams. He was a passionate fisherman, spending as much time in the mountains as he could. He loved the holidays and creating new traditions like attending the yearly Air Force Academy Christmas concert with his sisters. Most of all, Tony loved being with family and close friends. He took his roles as Brother, Uncle and Godfather very seriously, considering each Godchild a blessing, and his nieces and nephews affectionately knew him as “Uncle Bear.”
Tony is survived by siblings JoAnn (Ron) Rodriguez, Shirley and Frances Rodriguez, John (Brenda) Rodriguez, Ronald (Rosemary) Rodriguez, Tommy Ray (Cheryl) Rodriguez, Julie Rae Crespin, nephews Trevor, Jacob, and Emmitt, nieces Briana (Goddaughter), Alysia, and Isabella Rodriguez, aunt Virginia Rodriguez, numerous cousins, and dear friends.
