Peggy Keys Herrera

Peggy Keys Herrera, age 67 of Trinidad, CO Passed away on December 29, 2020  in Pueblo, CO.  Born January 27, 1953 in Lincoln, NE to Evelyn and Bud “Whitey” Keys Jr.

Preceded in death by her parents, Ex- Husband, Brother Larry Keys (Gail), Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles and many Cousins.

Peggy grew up and attended High School in Hawthorne, CA. Married Ralph Herrera and had her only child by age 17.  She moved to Trinidad, CO in 2000.  She worked various jobs throughout her life: Airport shuttle driver at LAX, Pool Sales, Real Estate, Food Sales, Environmental Services at Mt San Rafael Hospital and as a CSR at Wal Mart.

She took great pride in providing a clean and comfortable home - welcoming all. She was very feisty and knew what she wanted in life while caring about others, always willing to help; often to a fault by disregarding her own needs. Peggy had the gift to gab, yearned for wholesome relationships with others and cherished her fur babies, family and friendships.

She is survived by; daughter; 2 grandsons, 6 great-grandchildren and many other extended family members. she will be dearly missed by her friends and family.
