Phillip M. Quintana Sr.

Phillip M. Quintana Sr., beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, and son, passed away on November 12, 2025, at the age of 70.

He was born on August 23, 1955 in La Valley, Colorado to Theodora and Vicente Quintana. He was the loving brother of Delmar (Helen) Quintana and Ben (Irene) Quintana, Julia (Walter) Padilla, Viola (Steve) Mascarenas and Marvin Quintana.

Phillip was a devoted father to his children Antonio (Andrea) Quintana, Phillip (Patricia) Quintana Jr., Casey Quintana and Stacy Quintana. Along with being the best 'Papa' to so many others. 

A man of warm spirit and genuine connection, Phillip loved nothing more than striking up a conversation with anyone he met. He had a gift for bringing smiles and laughter, transforming everyday moments into cherished memories. His friendly presence and joyful heart touched the lives of all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his parents Theodora and Vicente Quintana, his brothers Delmar and Ben Quintana, and leaves behind his siblings, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, extended family and many friends whose lives he brightened.

Though we deeply mourn his passing, we also celebrate a life well-lived — a life marked by kindness, humor and the simple joy of human connection. His memory will live on in shared stories and laughter among those he loved.

A gathering to remember and honor Phillip’s life will be held April 11 2026 at 10 am at Sangre de Cristo Catholic Church 511 S Church Pl, San Luis, CO 81152. Reception to follow at Centennial High School 14644 CO-159, San Luis, CO 81152. Family, friends and all whose lives he touched are invited to come together to share memories, give thanks, and bid farewell to a truly special man.
