Raymond Garcia Jr., 81, affectionately known as “Ray Boone” passed away June 1, 2021 in Denver, CO. He was born Aug. 3, 1939 to Raymond and Madeline (Moguez) Garcia Sr. both precede him in death along with his loving wife Romualda (Pando) Garcia; son, Ray Garcia III; siblings, Charlotte (Jerome) Bartosz, Rebecca (Filbert) Lujan Sr., Pauline Garcia, and Joe (Dora) Garcia; in-laws, Ned and Madeline Pando, Dave (Pearl) Baca, Roque (Bernice) Armijo, Edward (Patricia) Vialpando, and Manuel Armijo. He retired from CF & I and Pueblo County Sheriff Dept. Ray enjoyed hunting and fishing in his younger years. He was a fan of the Broncos and Rockies watching a game whenever he could. He was a huge western movie fanatic. Ray was a giving person, he would give you his shirt off his back, no questions asked. His passion was being with his family and visiting with friends. Ray is survived by his daughter, Dolores “Lori” Garcia; siblings, Fred Garcia, Kathy Garcia, Leonard (Frieda) Garcia, Michael (Susie) Garcia and ToniAnn (Robert) Garcia; sister-in-law, Adeline Armijo; special-friend, Robert Nolting; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who loved and will miss him. Rosary 6p.m. Thursday June 10, 2021 at Angelus Chapel.  Memorial Mass 10a.m. Friday June 11, 2021 at Sacred Heart of Avondale, Online condolence at www.angeluspueblo.com
