Renee A Lucero

Renee A. Lucero, 63, passed away Oct. 14, 2023. She was born Dec. 7, 1959 in Pueblo, CO. to parents Francisco and Mary (Cordova) Trujillo. Both precede her in death along with her sister, Gaylene Holderfield; godparents, Rick and Lucy Trujillo, uncles, Gerald Cordova, Charlie Herrera and Joe Rodriguez; aunt, Lucy Rodriguez; cousins, Roxanne Cowen and Dean Parker.

Renee proudly served in the U.S. Army after graduating high school and received many decorations such as Army Service Ribbon and Sharpshooter Badge-(M16 Rifle). Just recently she worked at Concentrix People Solution. She enjoyed fishing, camping, crafting, and watching the Denver Broncos. Most of all she loved spending time with her grandkids and her family.

Renee is survived by daughter, Melissa Lucero; son, Matt (Danette) Lucero; extra daughter, Angela; sister, Sharon (Rick) Mercer; grandchildren, Avie, Francisco and Blaize; fur baby, Bear; her adopted boys; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who loved and will miss her.
