Rita Delgado

Rita Delgado, 70, passed away March 12, 2018. She was born Sept. 8, 1947 to Pete and Marcella Santos who precede her in death along with her loving parents who raised her Oscar and Carmelita Ortiviz and grandson Nate Barela; siblings, Manuel, Lucas, Ray, Angel, Bobby, Lody, Sylvia, Josie, Connie, and Delores. She enjoyed going to Cripple Creek, being outside, dancing and listening to Spanish music. Most of all she loved spending time with family and friends. She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Carmen Barela, Beverly (Jerry) Padilla, Greg (Alicia) Barela, and Matthew Delgado; siblings, Larry (Nancy) Ortiviz, Erma (Enrique) Guzman, and Cecilia (Joe Maldonado) Newman; grandchildren, Desiree and Victor Moran, Jessica Barela, Nicholas and Donovan Barela;  great grandchildren, Timothy Gutierrez Jr. and Aleah Castillo; father of her children, Eugene Barela and Leonard Delgado,  numerous other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly. Rosary 2p.m. Wednesday March 28, 2018 with Mass to follow at 2:30p.m., both at St. Francis Xavier Church.
