Robert William Thompson

Robert William Thompson, 82, passed away Oct. 6, 2021. He was born Nov. 3, 1938 in Trinidad, CO to Howard and Ruth (Woodson) Thompson who precede him in death along with son Patrick Thompson. He served in the United States Air Force and retired from the CF&I with 20 plus years of service. Robert was a member of Evangelist Church of God and Christ, where he was a Deacon. He was a master wood worker, and loved to fish. He was known to make the best ribs. He never met a stranger. Once you knew him, you loved him. Most importantly Robert cherished his family and the time he spent with them; especially his grandchildren. He leaves to cherish his memory; his loving wife, Caroline Sierra Thompson; children, Darryl Sierra, Lisa Sierra, Robert (Becky) Thompson Jr., Ruth Spinks, and Nicole (Terrance) Gooch; sister, Marlene Samuels; in-laws, Faye (Floyd) Sandoval, Patricia Smith, Robert (Pat) Armijo, Millie Bray, and Henrietta Sanchez; 19 grandchildren 27 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren numerous other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
