Robert A. Torres, 69, passed away January 29, 2025. He was born August 30, 1955 in Las Vegas, New Mexico to parents, Santiago and Conferina (Gurule) Torres. They both precede him in death along with his sibling, Sharon (Torres) Martinez; niece, Marlene Luna; nephews, Bobby and Joe Luna and Ernest Lucero; brothers-in-law, Pancho Ramirez, Fred Montez and George Cruz; sisters-in-law, Helen Aveitia and Viola Montez.
Robert’s hobbies included fishing, camping, watching western movies and gold rush shows. He also enjoyed riding his Harley. Most of all he loved sitting outside with family and friends.
Robert is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Juanita Torres; daughter, Shawna Torres (Carlos Baca); 3 granddaughters, Tatiana Torres-Lopez, Anjulicia Torres-Santistevan, and Venicia Torres; siblings, Beatrice Cervantes, Tina Luna, Karen Torres, Michael Torres (Brian Martinez); brothers-in-law, John Martinez and Luis Aveitia; sisters-in-law, Margret Cruz and Lupe Montez-Robles; special friends, Louie Vega and Fred Montoya; special nephews, Ralph Montez and Aaron Jaques; special cousin, BoBo Joseph Torres; numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends who love and will miss Robert.
Memorial Mass, 1 pm, Wed., Feb. 12, 2025 at St. Anne’s Catholic Church. Interment, Roselawn Cemetery, Pueblo, CO.
