Robert Lee Weathers Jr.

Robert Lee Weathers Jr., 67, passed away May 8, 2025. He was born June 9, 1957 in Indianapolis, Indiana to parents, Robert L. and Addie J. (Hart) Weathers. Both precede him in death along with his grandfathers, Roscoe Weathers and Churt Hart; grandmothers, Zella Kirby and Hattie Ponds.

Robert proudly served in the U.S Marines as a Pvt. from 1975-76.  He attended Belleville Illinois Area College from 1980-1982 and studied Computer Science. Robert had many interests throughout his life. He loved to read books on philosophy and superhero comics. He enjoyed listening to live music like Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughn. Robert liked drawing pictures of animals and original idea montages, he was a collector of watches, coins and other things. He was an avid action and superhero movie buff, he was a huge martial arts enthusiast and a big fan of Bruce Lee. Robert liked to go shoot pool whenever he could. He was well liked and respected by his colleagues, friends, and loved ones due to his affectionate and boisterous demeanor. Robert loved his entire family immensely and would help any way he could. He will truly be missed.

Robert is survived by his children, Robert Weathers III, Andre Weathers, Lindsay Weathers, Ebony Weathers, and Scott Weathers; his sisters, Vanessa Weathers, Dorothy Weathers, Gaylon Weathers and Carla Weathers; a host of grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

At his request cremation, no formal services at this time.
