Robert G. "Purple" Espinoza

Robert G. Espinoza was born August 5, 1970 in Pueblo, CO. to Eleanor Manriquez. Robert was known to most as Bobby or Purple. He grew up in Pueblo’s southside. Bobby worked at several different restaurants and got into the tree cutting service. Bobby enjoyed lowriders, fishing and spending time with his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Ruth Garcia (Gama and Papa) who raised him, uncle, Leroy Gonzales; his mother, Eleanor Manriquez; uncle, Kenny Valdez and nino, Leonard Valdez.

He departed this life, Monday, May 24, 2021, at his sister Titi’s (Gloria’s) home with all his loved ones by his side.

He leaves to celebrate his life, his children, Robbie Sandoval, Robert Cornwell, Jonathan Ortega, Kyra and Sebastian Espinoza; four grandchildren; his siblings, Gloria Espinoza, Tony (Sarah) Mendoza of Liberal KS, Chila Manriquez and Frances (Jack) Salas; aunt and uncle, Tiema Gonzales (Wayne Manzanares) and Mike (Deb) Valdez; numerous cousins, nephews, nieces; his godson, Robert Salas; his nephew he helped raise, Jimmie Rodriguez and his best friend Julian Aragon. Bobby will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
