Robert J. Hawthorne, 49, passed away May 27, 2021, in the arms of his loving partner of 20 years, Gerald Jimenez. Robert was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, Antonio Jimenez Jr. and partner, David Hambley. "Bobby," as he was called by his mom and dad, is survived by Diana and Don Hawthorne;brother, Gary Hawthorne; nieces, Madison and Megan Hawthorne. Robert is also survived by Eva Jimenez; along with the entire Jimenez family, several relatives and a host of friends who will truly miss him. He was raised in Inola, Okla., and moved to Pueblo in 1999. Robert loved his career as a CNA and was a great animal lover which includes his two dogs, five cats and his rat, Boo.
