Ronald L. Lopez Sr., 62, affectionately known as “Ron,” passed away on January 19, 2026. He was born on December 30, 1963, in Pueblo, Colorado, to Antonio and Julia Lopez, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his son, Rodney Garcia; grandsons, Erric “Mikey” Lopez and AJ Lopez; his sister, Deborah Lopez; and his ex-wife and close friend, Corrina Lopez.
Ron attended County High School. He had a deep love for the outdoors and especially enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, and hiking. Spending time with his boys and grandchildren was what he cherished most. Ron was an avid pool player and loved dancing, hanging out with his buddies, listening to live bands, and playing Queen of Hearts.
Ron leaves behind to cherish his memory his children: Antonio (Diana) Lopez, Ron Lopez Jr. (Lisa), Erric (Tee) Lopez, and Armando Lopez; his grandchildren: Janessa, Adrianna, Zaiden, Anyssia, Ezekiel, Amaziah, Maria, Esperanza, Lynnez, and Armando; his beloved baby boy kitty, Noah; and many nieces, nephews, and friends, including his special friend, Lisa Aguilar, and his best friend, ZZ.
