Roy D. Johnson

Roy D. Johnson, 85, passed away June 28, 2025. He was born June 3, 1940 in Texas to parents, Joe and Jessie (Daniels) Johnson. Both precede him in death along with former wife and mother of his children, Rachelle Johnson.

Roy proudly served in the U.S. Army. He has been a Prowers County resident since 1999. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was always there to help anyone in need. Roy was a hard worker, working up until the age of 83 ½. Our father never stopped providing for his family. Most of all he enjoyed spending quality time with his grandkids and family, they were his pride and joy.

Roy is survived by his children, Roger Johnson, Michael Johnson, Timmy Johnson, Lynn Johnson and Edward Johnson; and several grandchildren.

At his request cremation, no formal services.
