Sarah Vanessa Lucero, 38, passed away February 25, 2025. A lifetime Puebloan, she was born September 7, 1986 to proud parents, Charles Lucero and Hope Rodriguez, who both precede her in death.
Sarah enjoyed the mountains, fishing, and long car rides. She enjoyed shopping. Sarah was always willing to try new foods, and enjoyed going out to eat. McDonald’s chicken sandwich was her favorite. She was a collector of Jack Skellington. Scary movies were her favorite, especially Michael Myers. She enjoyed time with family and friends. She especially enjoyed spending time with her Uncle Richard as he filled a special place in her heart after the passing of her parents.
Sarah is survived by her uncle, Richard Romero; her boyfriend, Emilio S. Hernandez; extended family, Mary Lou and Sam Hernandez, Monique and Jeff Peck, Larissa and Marcus Wylie, Samuel Hernandez and Stephanie Gurule; fur baby, Penny, cousins, and friends who will miss her dearly.
Funeral Service, 1 pm, Thurs., March 6, 2025 at The Angelus Chapel. Interment, Roselawn Cemetery.
