Susie Marie (Ortiz) Sisneros

Susie Marie (Ortiz) Sisneros, 82, went to be with the Lord on February 14, 2025. She was born in Jaroso, CO. on  September 7, 1942 to parents, Melaquias J. and Josie O. (Garcia) Ortiz, both precede her in death along with her husband, Francisco Sisneros Sr.; brothers, Melaquias Jose Ortiz Jr., Jose N. Ortiz and Maximo O. Ortiz; brother-in-law, Raymond Sisneros and mother-in-law, Mary Sisneros.

Susie met and married the love of her life, Frank Sisneros in 1962. They shared 44 years of marriage and had 4 children. She enjoyed bowling. She was a great sports fan, and a loyal Colorado fan. Her favorite pastime was watching her kids and grandkids play sports. She was a devout Catholic, she would go 4 times a week to help out with anything she could. Most of all she loved spending time with her loved ones.

Susie is survived by her son, Ethan (Lisa) Sisneros; daughter, Pamela Sisneros-Baca (Ernest Baca), son, Nathan (Deanie) Sisneros, and son, Walter (Gina) Sisneros; goddaughters, Sandra Cardoza and Geri Ann Ortiz;  brothers, Eddie (Barbara) Ortiz, Pat (Judy) Ortiz and Robert (Pam) Ortiz; sisters, Elaine (Richard) Zamora, Florence (Alex) Ortiz-Nykoluk, Charlotte (Felix) Salas and Bertha (Alvin) Espinosa; sisters-in-law, Martha Trinidad, Angie Sisneros and Shirley (Mike) Knibbe; brother-in-law, Leo (Charlotte) Sisneros; 13 grandchildren, Juice (Bern) Sisneros, Brian Sisneros, Jason Sisneros, Terra (BJ) Alarid, Jovanna Sisneros, Sydney Kaii Sisneros, Nia Sisneros, Ally Sisneros, Nathan Sisneros Jr., Jacob Sisneros Baca, Chris (Crystal) Rafferty, Desirae Sisneros (Walter) and Cisco Sisneros; 17 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; her dog, Patches; and numerous nephews, nieces and friends. She had a heart and personality that was unforgettable. She will be greatly missed and never forgotten.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend, The Viewing, 1 pm with The Mass of Christian Burial, 1:45 pm, Tues., Feb. 25, 2025 both at St. Pius X Catholic Church. Interment, Imperial Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
