Tanya Renee Rivera, age 49, passed away on October 21, 2025. Born in Denver, Colorado, and raised in Pueblo, Tanya was a devoted mother, auntie, sister, and friend whose presence brought warmth and joy to those around her.
Tanya dedicated herself to caring for others with kindness and love. Her compassion, patience, and gentle spirit left a lasting impression on every child and family she worked with. Tanya found great joy in cooking for loved ones, creating meals that brought people together and filled her home with laughter and love. She cherished time spent outdoors, especially fishing and camping—activities that brought her peace and happiness, most of all when shared with her family and friends.
Above all, Tanya’s greatest pride and joy was her family. She is survived by her children, TJ, Artie, Marissa, and Mazrel; her beloved grandson, Jaylon; her mother, Benita; and her siblings, Abram, Ernestine, Anita, Richard, Gloria, Becca, Louie, Ramiro, and Michael. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who will miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Marquez, her mother, Annabelle Marquez, and her brother, Javier Rivera.
Tanya will be remembered for her strength, her sense of humor, and her ability to brighten any room she entered. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Funeral Service, 10 am, Thurs., Oct. 30, 2025 at Praise Assembly.
