Theresa F. Aragon

Theresa F. Aragon, 91, passed away Feb. 27, 2025. She was born July 26, 1933 in Springer, New Mexico to parents, Henry and Ana (Martinez) Gonzales, both precede her in death along with her husband, George Salazar; son, Arthur Aragon; daughter, Shirley Aragon; son-in-law, Joe Casados and daughter-in-law, Pat Aragon; and great grandchildren, Regina, Deja and Justin.

Theresa was an excellent cook; you never left her home without eating. She loved spicy green chili and jalapenos; they were her favorites. She enjoyed watching westerns movies and her game shows. Theresa loved to dance and listen to her Spanish music and cumbias. Theresa was so proud of her Betty Boop collection and red was her favorite color. She was the matriarch of 4 generations and was so proud to share her life stories and love with each of them. She had a great personality and beautiful soul. We were proud to have her as our Mother, Grandma, Great Grandma and Friend.

Theresa is survived by her children, Gloria (Robert) Blea, Angie (Donald) Baros, Susan (Donald) Romero, Joe (Rosalie) Aragon, Betty Aragon, Diana Casados and Billie (Senida) Aragon; 28 grandchildren; 54 great grandchildren and numerous great great grandchildren; and her 4 legged companions, Gus, Mugsy, Chato, Bugs, and her bird, Peppito.

Funeral Service, 10 am, Wed. March 5, 2025 at Angelus Chapel. Internment Imperial Memorial Gardens.
