Tommy M. Trujillo, affectionately known as “Mike”, 77, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 surrounded by all of his girls. He was born in Delhart, Texas on February 17, 1948 to parents, Edumenio and Lillie (Montoya) Trujillo. Both precede him in death along with his sister, Rosalie Trujillo; sister-in-law, Rose Ayala; and brothers-in-law, Anthony and Robert.
He enjoyed every stage of his life to the fullest, the 53 year journey with Eleanor, raising Desiree & Alize to be as crazy and outspoken as he is, always ready to buy Amber food, Thursday at the Circle, hugs from the grand babies, garage beers with his Vecino, Ralph, visits to Nancy & Louie’s house, coffee with Lena, Cripple Creek trips for my mom, arguing with Kenny, Saturday rides with Mike, weekend beers with me and Danny…
He always said “it’s not the destination, it’s the journey” He may have reached his destination, but the memory of his journey will live on in every one of us.
Mike is survived by his wife, Eleanor (Quintana) Trujillo; daughter, Michele (Daniel) Valdez; sister, Lena (Ray) Perez; granddaughters, Desiree (Cory) and Amber (Ryan); great grandchildren, Alize, Jesse, Matthew, Amelia, Rosalie, Vivian, and Amaya; brothers-in-law, Donald (Celina), and Frank Sandoval; sisters-in-law, Nancy (Louie), Beverly (Danny), Mena (Rudy), Pat (Antonio), and Joann; extended family, Mike Hed, Duke Gallegos, Little Louie, Kenny Tafoya, Dano Weston, and Wade Decker.
At his request cremation.
A memorial ride and celebration of Life will be held on Saturday March 22, 2025. We will meet at the family home on Glenroyal Dr at 11am, ride to the Circle Lounge and then to Nancy's house, 29121 Parrish Rd.
