Tony McPherson

Tony McPherson, 71, passed away February 20, 2025 at home with his family by his side. He was born July 14, 1953 in Eugene, Oregon to parents, Tony J. and Charlsa “Pat” (Davis) McPherson, both precede him in death along with his grandmother, Nina Mabel Davis.

Tony attended Rye High School. He loved all football but his favorite was the Denver Broncos and never missed a game, if the Broncos weren’t playing then he rooted for the Minnesota Vikings. He was a collector of everything. He had a passion for cars, collecting them, working on them and racing them. Tony and his wife became sole owners of Mac’s Paint and Body and Towing in 1982 after running it with his dad from the time he was 17 years old. He loved all of his dogs and cats. He enjoyed the outdoors and being out on the ranch. He had many family memories, 4-wheeling, hunting, fishing, boating, and camping. Tony was a perfectionist. His work was impeccable. He loved his family and having family gatherings was his favorite.

Tony is survived by his wife of 50 years, Kimala (Higgins) McPherson; children, Trista (Michael) Handlos and their daughter Teagan, Nicholas (Pauli) McPherson and their children Cody, Jessie, Donna, Roy, Sarah, and Tony, Jennifer (Mark) Lindemann and their sons Aidan and Tyler, Jillian (Sam) Coker and their children Haleigh, Cristian, and Zander, and Trenton (Sarah) McPherson and numerous nieces, nephews and friends who love and will miss him. 

The Celebration of Life Service will be held, Saturday, March 15, 2025 at 1pm at First Church of the Nazarene on 84 Stanford Ave; Pueblo, CO 

Private Family Burial will be held at Roselawn Cemetery.
