Valerie Aguirres, 57, passed away June 18, 2024. A lifetime Puebloan, she was born December 6, 1966 to parents, Joe and Mary N. (Martinez) Aguirres. Both precede her in death along with her niece, Adriane Rino.
Valerie was a great cook and baker. She loved to have parties for her kids as they were growing up, making cakes for all occasions. Valerie enjoyed collecting movies and watching them. She also loved listening to music. Her biggest joy was buying and doing for her kids and grandkids, and spending quality time with each of them.
Valerie is survived by her husband, Joey Archuleta; daughter, Amber Aguirres; sons, Brandon Aguirres, Nathan (Felicia) Aguirres, Jeremy Aguirres, Brent Aguirres, and Jordan (Krystal) Aguirres; sisters, Cindy (Carlos) Alvarez and Norma (Ed Koppin) Aguirres; brothers, Brian (Ginger) Aguirres and Ronald Aguirres; 14 grandchildren; numerous family members and friends who loved and will miss her.
Funeral Service, 1 pm, Tues., July 2, 2024 at Angelus Chapel.
